I might also suggest writing a letter to prospective landlords to show that your truly interested in the property, explain to them about the situation you are in and that you are doing your best to take care of it. It also helps if you don`t have any evictions most landlords will look past bad credit but not evictions. Try to build a personal relationship with the person if possible, it is harder for them to turn you down when they are confronted with the fact that you and your family are real, and not just some info on a application. I hope you and your family find something soon take care.
