cmsb705 asked: The current system is flawed, because an agent can make more money by selling your house fast and moving on to the next listing. So the incentive is for them to sell your house faster and for less money. How could we re-structure the system to give the agent fair reward but a stronger incentive?

sukotsuchido asked: I am buying a foreclosed home that has been winterized here in the SE michigan area (Commerce Township to be exact). I know to have a home inspected, power and water must be turned on, but this is a bank owned home and I really don’t want to go through the rigmarole of having the utilities turned on for one day for the inspection. I know there are companies that do winterized inspections with generators and air pressure for pipes, but I’ll be damned if I can find any information on any in my area. If any of you have any suggestions, please let me know! Thank you.

Angela Davis asked: The Republican Party, led by this crew of rich, out-of-touch homies is preparing to deny the right to vote to Midwesterners who have already suffered from home foreclosures.

rykookyr asked: I want to diversify my business (it is no way related to real estate at all). I am looking at the possibility of buying a rental property or possibly a vacation rental property (i.e. a condo at a ski resort or something along that line). Which mortgage companies specialize in this? I assume they will want financial statements from the company or can I do a stated loan? What size down payment would be typical?
I know I could contact a lawyer, real estate agent, bank and a mortgage person but I don’t want their salespeople to start bugging me right now (I get too many telemarketers calling me now as it is). I want to get some background info so I can ask intelligent questions when I start talking to those people mentioned above.

tomihairs asked: I love to go to open houses in my neighborhood. I always wonder if real estate agents get annoyed at this. Should I just not sign in and tell them I’m just a “nosey neighbor”?

Rena asked: I’m closing on my house in November, what do you think a 30 year mortgage rate will be at? Any idea?
I’m only asking for an opinion. I understand no one can give a set number.

kirbys_girl52 asked: I am having a lot of problems with my dogs in my apartment. It’s been 6 months and they can’t seem to adjust. It was just supposed to be temporary. I understand that the point of a lease is that you have to pay even if you move out. But there has to be a way. Is there any way I can get out of this? Any ideas will be helpful. Any loop holes. Anything!
