Lexis2011 asked: I have been looking for houses for me and my family and I’ve found many houses with 3beds and 2bath for about $1,400 a month. This is the right size and the amount is affordable but i found out that it is a foreclosure home. Since they are cheaper is it good to rent one? thanks in advance.

Lynn H asked: I am a real estate agent in Minnesota. In the state of Minnesota I am required to have a broker hold my license. Thus, costing me a lot of money every month to be an employee of a brokerage. Are there any states that don’t require a broker to hold your license?

Angel asked: I have two answer.
1) If put back to settlement, it is not taxable. It only reduce your purchase price, when you sell your investment property, you have to pay tax. You only need to pay tax if you get check directly from the builder.
2) Another group think 1) only apply to second home. For realtor buy investment property, even realtor put rebate back into settlement, they still have to claim it as income and pay tax on it.
Which one is true, any website as support document? Thanks.
If the law will be different from state to state? I am in Maryland.

Ed asked: A bank tells a real estate agent that average closing costs on the sale of a home are $6500. The agent thinks that this is too low an estimate so she randomly selects 20 recent home sales and finds that the average closing costs are $6550 with a sample standard deviation of $120 and that the closing costs appear to be normally distributed.
The null hypothesis would be rejected at the ? = 0.05 level..

Kay asked: I just moved in an apt with a numerous amounts of fleas left by the previous tenants. Complaint to the property management but they said they were not responsible for hiring an exterminator for us, and will not pay for it. My question is if the property management suppose to be held responsible and if we have the rights to file any type of complaints to health departments if they refuse to take care of the issue?
I have absolutely no pets living or visiting my apartment. I live in San Francisco. Thanks for the answers!
