Simon asked: The 3-6% that realtors get; is that on top of the sale price? I.e. if I buy a house for 1 million, is the total cost $1,060,000 (assuming a 6% fee)?

chokingsadness asked: My family was given 10 days only to move out. With no money for storage, how are we going to take the items we own, and also, what happens to the stuff we leave behind? Is it considered garbage and thrown away, or can we go back later and retrieve it?

calendar girl asked: retaliating and trumping up something to kick you out if you compalin about their shoddy repairs that they take weeks to get there to fix and violations of lease (entered apt five times over 21 years with no notice (I am supposed to get 24 hours) once breaking my chain lock, constant inspections expecting perfection on your end but giving you jury rigged repairs on their end. Do you experience stuff like this or have horror stories and are you scared to compalin to hud or anyone due to risk of eviction. I am getting so sick of things here. All the managers have been the meanest, most cold hearted people, and I have heard awful stories and had bad personal experiences too. Once I was sleeping naked in my room alone and repairman came crashing through the upstairs window in the other room, awakening me and I needed to rush to the door and slam it shut..No notice whatsoever they were entering. In fact, they crashed through upstairs window on 2 occassions with no notice
at least 2nd time I was up and dressed.
Does stuff bad happen in your subsidized housing and why are the disabled and poor treated so badly?

Shana asked: I have bombed the house twice and find dead roaches. My main concern is when I go outside at night I can see them running in all different directions. A lot of them and they are 1-2 inches big! What I need is a pest company to do a monthly spray or something. Do I have to pay to not live with these nasty creatures when they were there before me?

chereeboyle asked: Maybe I should have said slum lords, this is my 4th landlord in 16 years and every single one would not fix things, promise stuff, sure, but fix it no. This house has a terrible mould problem and he has the gall to be pissed off at us! It is his roof that leaks for crying out loud! He is selling it and now regretting neglecting the house so badly and is trying to fob the problems off on us. The stupid lady who is buying the house, I call her stupid because she actually wants to purchase this piece of……………, wants to move in, so we are out and dreading the next landlord. I suppose my real question is why be a landlord if you aren’t going to do it RIGHT. We had to buy our own smoke alarms! It is law in this country that the landlord supply them. WE PAY RENT! WHY SHOULD RENTERS HAVE TO DO UP THESE HOUSES TO LIVE DECENTLY?
